Qualification Criteria
To qualify as a member of The Good Contractors List, contractors must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: You must have been in business for at least three years, with a minimum of five years of industry experience.
- Online Presence: Maintain a current website that is easy for homeowners to navigate.
- While BBB membership isn’t mandatory, a low letter grade will disqualify you.
- Background Check: You and your business must both pass a background check.
- Insurance: You are required to carry General Liability Insurance at all times. We require being listed as certificate holders to ensure your coverage never lapses.
- Growth Mindset: We seek contractors who are willing to grow with us, as positions are limited.

The Good Contractors List is just as accountable to homeowners as our contractors are. We expect our contractors to demonstrate integrity by providing high-quality work at fair and honest prices. Additionally, you must be willing to respond promptly to any disputes with a homeowner.
